tournaments
All teams play in at least one tournament each in the spring and fall.
Information on Illinois tournaments is available from the Illinois Youth Soccer Association. Some tournaments that Glenview teams often enter are:
Park Ridge Memorial Day Tournament
Libertyville Cup Youth Soccer Festival
Buffalo Grove Kick-off Classic
Wheeling Soccer Classic
The Illinois State Cup is a highly competitive tournament, where winners advance to regional and national tournaments.
Email Albert Gudmusson for information if you are interested in an out-of-state tournament. In recent years, a number of Glenview teams have entered the Pepsi Cup tournament held by the Milwaukee Kickers.
GLenview 3v3 Tournament
GSC is a cosponsor of the Glenview 3v3 Tournament, which is held each June at Gallery Park in Glenview. The tournament is open to U7 through U19 teams, and has both recreational and competitive divisions. This is a fun way to wrap up the season, and a number of GSC players have formed teams of 3 to 6 players and entered. Go to the tournament website for more details.
